Myrtice Harrell Forrest

The graveside funeral service for Myrtice Harrell Forrest, 88, of Climax, Ga., was held Sunday, Jan. 16, at Mars Hill Cemetery near Climax with the Rev. Paul Medley officiating.
Mrs. Forrest was born March 12, 1922, in Climax, and died Jan. 15, 2011, at Consulate Health Care in Tallahassee, Fla. She was the daughter of Clarence Harrell and Ellie Prevatte Harrell.
She was formerly in the catering business and belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star in Highland City, Fla. Mrs. Forrest was preceded in death by her husband, John Forrest, and her brother, Crawford Harrell.
Survivors include her son, Hal Kersey of Winter Haven, Fla.; her daughter, Judith Reeder of Chattahoochee, Fla.; her brother, Kenneth Harrell of Bartow, Fla.; her sisters, Virginia Allen of Chattahoochee, Fla., and Ruth Branford of Chatham, N.J.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
