Services for Thomas L. “Boosey” Smith, 42, of Bainbridge, were held Jan. 8 at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in Attapulgus with Elder Freddie C. Anderson officiating.

Mr. Smith was born March 30, 1968, in Bainbridge to the late Eddie Smith Sr. and Betty Smith. Mr. Smith died Jan. 1, 2011, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.

He was a member of St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church. He attended school in Attapulgus and Hutto Middle School in Bainbridge.

Survivors include eight sisters, Geraldine Moffett, Laura Tolbert, Mary Smith, Thelma Tarlbert, all of Bainbridge, Rosa Smith, Alice Smith, Emma McGriff and Louise Marshall, all of Attapulgus; four brothers, Harrison Smith of Fort Myers, Fla., Eddie Smith Jr. and Oddis Smith Sr., both of Bainbridge, and Lawrence Smith of Attapulgus; and a host of other relatives.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
