No services are planned for Mrs. Ruthe Heitzler Burgess, 89, of Bainbridge, who died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home

Mrs. Burgess was born Aug. 23, 1921, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of George Baku and Anna Dietes Baku.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Stanley Heitzler and Harvey J. Burgess; and a son, Geoffrey Heitzler.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Bridges and her husband, James, of Bainbridge; her sister, Kay Rowlette of Cincinnati; grandsons, Mike Chitwood and wife, Andrea, of Novato, Calif., and Mark J. Chitwood and wife, Maria, of Pelham, Ga.; and great-grandchildren, Jessica Chitwood and Jake Chitwood.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
