Funeral services for Ouida Wildes Brock, 91, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held Friday, Dec. 24, in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the Rev. Conrad Salter and Elder William Wildes officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Neil Stempenski, Todd Stempenski, Freddie Meek, Christopher Cannon, Chase Meek and Brice Adams.

Mrs. Brock was born in Valdosta, Ga., on Nov. 29, 1919, to the late C.A. Wildes and Eva Treadwell Wildes. She died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at her home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Harriett H. Stempenski, and two brothers, C.A. Wildes Jr. and Calvin O. Wildes.

She is survived by her brother, William O. Wildes and his wife, Hazel, of Waycross, Ga.; four children, Evelyn B. Jowers and her husband, Billy, of Climax, Ga., Evan Eugene Hinson and his wife, Beverly, of Albany, Ga., Georgette Hinson Meek of Albany, Ga., and Harmon Lester Adams III and his wife, Leene’, of Boone, N.C.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and an abundance of loving nieces and nephews.
