A memorial service for Nils Newton Haag, 75, of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Mosely officiating.

Mr. Haag was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Radford, Va., and died Dec. 5, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge. He worked at Kennedy Space Center as a mathematician. Mr. Haag and his wife have lived at Lake Seminole for about 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Nils and Elizabeth Carden Haag.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Haag of Donalsonville; his children, Anna Babbitt of Baker, Fla., Allan Haag of Del Rio, Texas, and Tom Haag of Merritt Island, Fla.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
