Funeral services for Louise Cheshire Floyd, 76, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, Ga., with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating.

Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville. Visitation will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Mrs. Floyd was born March 3, 1934, in Donalsonville and died Nov. 15, 2010, at Consulate Health Care in Tallahassee.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Salem Seminole Baptist Church in Donalsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leamon Porter and Eva Anna Arnold Cheshire.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Floyd of Tallahassee; a daughter, Kay Herring Simpson of Ashville, N.C.; a brother, Gerald Cheshire of Warner Robins, Ga.; and a sister, Patricia Cheshire Williams of Tallahassee.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
