Funeral services for Jane McLendon Wilson, 62, of Webb, Ala., were held Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, with the Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 31, 1947, in Donalsonville, Ga., and died Nov. 13, 2010, in Webb. She graduated from Seminole County High School in 1966 and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Perry “Bill” and Hazel Cook McLendon.

She is survived by her husband, Van Wilson Sr. of Webb; four sons, Van Wilson Jr. of Athens, Ga., Johnny Wilson of Cowarts, Ala., Cleve Whittaker of Thomasville, Ga., and Ashley Wayne Whittaker of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Rachelle Marshall of Webb, April Wilson of Webb, and Lisa Whittaker of Texas; one brother, Bill Barineau of Donalsonville; four sisters, Kathy Pellerin of Colquitt, Ga., Gayla Vinson of Donalsonville, Paige Edwards of Colquitt, and Angie Cross of Donalsonville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
