• Lighthouse Ministry—The church, at 312 Dunham St. S.W. in Iron City, will conclude The Breaking of the Chains Conference Saturday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

• Greater Mount Calvary First Born Church—The church at 471 E. Broad St. in Climax will have a day of fun, entertainment and food on Saturday, Nov. 6, at its Fall Carnival. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Gospel sing—It’s Harvest Time Gospel singing and preaching will be at the Decatur County Coliseum on Saturday, Nov. 6, beginning at 7 p.m. Featuring Pastor Eric Collins of Greater Macedonia M.B. Church, Totally 4 Him, The Gloreous Sons, The Spiritual Wonders, Coco and the Chosen Ones, Min. Febe and the Chosen Ones, Spiritualaires, Bishop Livingston and The Gospel Crusader and The Gospel Songbirds.

• Liberty Baptist Church—The church, located 2909 Vada Road, Bainbridge, will have as a guest speaker, Evangelist Donnie Guy of Gulfport, Miss., on Saturday, Nov. 6 and 7. A covered dish supper will be on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. with preaching at 6 p.m. He will also preach on Sunday services, Nov. 7. Sunday programs are 9:45 Sunday School, 11 a.m. worship services and 6 p.m. evening services.

• First Morningstar Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located on Ten Mile Still Road, will have its annual family and friends old-fashioned day on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Lougene Bush of Donalsonville.

• Pine Hill M.B. Church—The church, located 1048 Pine Hill Church Road, will observe Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Washington of Thomasville as guest speaker.

• Poplar Springs M.B. Church—The church, located 409 Mobley Road, Whigham, will observe Pastor E. Matthew Faulk’s installation ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Garland will preside and the installation message will be given by the Rev. Alexander Mack of Mount Calvary M.B. Church.

• New Home No. 2 Free Will Baptist Church—The church located in Vada invites the public to the “Old-Fashioned Day” Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 7. Worship is at 11 a.m., followed by lunch. A sing begins at 1:30 featuring The Mercy Mountain Boys from Lake City, Fla.

• Harvest Assembly of God—The church, located 2222 Dothan Road, will hold its Fall Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 13, offering many homemade items, baked goods and Christmas items.

• Second Morning Star Church—The church, located 140 Engelhard Road, Attapulgus, will hold an event on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m. with Joe Kendricks speaking.

• Salem M. B. Church—The church, located 451 Old Faceville Road, Faceville, will be having a “Harvest Bazaar,” on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The bazaar will feature fun activities for kids of all ages, a spa extravaganza and booth rentals. • Disciples of Jesus Ministry—The church, located 1630 Bethel Road, will hold a Unity in the Community Thanksgiving Feast on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free dinners and drinks will be served and Evangelist Beverly Davis will speak.

• Recovery United Methodist Church—The church will hold the annual Fall Pilau Supper on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. Take Highway 97 South to Recovery Road and follow signs to the church.

• John the Baptist M.B. Church—The church, located 1706 Faceville Road, Bainbridge, will have ordination services on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. The theme will be “Working together as one body in Christ,” with the Rev. James Turner of Greater St. Mark M.B. Church as guest speaker.

• Second St. James M.B. Church—The church, located on Potter Street in Bainbridge, will have a benefit praise service for Sister Lessie Crawford on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m., with the Rev. Eugene Roberts speaking.

• Piney Grove M.B. Church—The church, located on Piney Grove Road, Whigham, will observe the church and pastor’s anniversaries from Nov. 8-14, with 7:30 p.m. services during the week and 11 a.m. on the Nov. 14.

• God’s Temple of Holy Praise #2—The church, located 106 Griffin St. in Bainbridge, will hold the second Fall Youth Program: “We’re Waging War” with guest speaker Pastor Colvin of Lamb Temple of God Ministry of Tallahassee on Friday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m.

• St. John Episcopal Church—The church, located at 516 Broughton St., will hold the Festival of St. John the Apostle, the new name for the annual bazaar, on Saturday, Nov. 20, beginning at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Second St. James M.B. Church—The church at 1912 Potter St. will celebrate Harvest Day Sunday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. with Minister Tamorris Baulkmon as speaker.

• Mount Zuma M.B. Church—The church, located 2015 Vada Road, will observe Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Nov. 21, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Phillip Corker of Shilo One M.B. Church of Cairo as speaker.

• St. Paul M.B. Church—The church, located on U.S. 27 North, will observe the 99th church anniversary and the pastor’s anniversary at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 24, and 26 and at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28. Speaker on the 24th will be Clifford Burke and Pastor Smiley will speak on the 26th. Church Pastor is Levi Kelly.

• Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located at 1810 S. West St. in Bainbridge will have a Harvest Rally (Old-Fashioned Day) on Sunday, Nov. 28, beginning at 11:15 a.m. Come as you are for services and dinner that will be served.

• Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church—The family of Louticia McKelvin will hold a tribute of love on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Adolph Noble Building , 849 MLK Drive.
