Margaret Pollock

A memorial service for Margaret Pollock, 82, of Iron City, Ga., was held Tuesday, Sept. 7, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.
Born in Early County on Feb. 9, 1928, Mrs. Pollock passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Donalsonville Hospital.
Mrs. Pollock attended Cedar Springs Assembly of God Church, was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Pollock; a son, Danny Ray Pollock; a brother, John Corley; two sisters, Clara Lay and Betty Anderson; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Pollock of Iron City and James Edward Pollock of Ponce De Leon, Fla.; a daughter, Lucille Richmond of Iron City; a sister, Dorothy Martin of Moultrie, Ga.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
