Funeral services for Mary Earnestine Cummings, 84, of Bainbridge, were held Aug. 21 at St. Mark M.B. Church in Mitchell County with the Rev. Dwight Reaves officiating.

Interment followed in Roadside Cemetery in Mitchell County.

Mrs. Cummings was born May 20, 1926, in Decatur County, and died Aug. 18, 2010, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Cummings.

Survivors include four brothers, C.J., Henry Lee, Robert and Lamar Crump; and two sisters, Anna Doris Emanuel and Elsie Whitfield.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
