Funeral services for Hazel Brewer Haire, 85, of Colquitt, Ga., will be held Wednesday, June 9, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Colquitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Perry Lamey and Richie Vaughn officiating.

Interment will follow at Mother’s Home Church Cemetery.

Born Oct. 27, 1924, in Gainesville, Fla., Mrs. Haire died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Haire was a member of Colquitt Assembly of God Church and was head cashier with Piggly Wiggly.

Mrs. Haire was preceded in death by her first husband, Archie “Kid” Brewer Sr., and a granddaughter, Allison Mott.

Survivors include her husband, Troy Haire of Colquitt; two daughters, Sandra Calhoun of Colquitt and Carole Mott of Pensacola, Fla.; three sons, Archie W. Brewer Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Roy Brewer of Dothan, Ala., and Jerry Brewer of Bainbridge; a stepdaughter, Melissa Anne Warren of Pelham, Ga.; a stepson, Steve Haire of Pelham, Ga.; two sisters, Juanita Gray of Colquitt, and Bernice Ford of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Colquitt Funeral Home in Colquitt, Ga., will be in charge of arrangements.
