Funeral services for Elma Green Taylor, 89, were Friday, June 4, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. S.E. Newberry officiating.

Interment followed at Old Mars Hill Cemetery.

Born July 31, 1920, in Decatur County, Mrs. Taylor died on June 1, 2010, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.

She was a homemaker and member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Taylor; two sisters, Odeline Dodson and Betty Jean Green; and two brothers, Robert Green and Rufus Green.

Survivors include her twin sister, Thelma Shepherd of Bainbridge, and four generations of nieces and nephews.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
