Funeral services for Willis Biggles Sr., 70, of Brinson, will be held Saturday, May 29, at 3 p.m. at Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Collins officiating.

Interment will follow in Jonas Lobe Cemetery with Micheal Biggles, Kenneth Biggles, Willis Biggles II, Fredrick Kirkland, Reginald Biggles and Derrick Biggles serving as active pallbearers.

Born Jan. 20, 1940, in Decatur County, Mr. Biggles died on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

Mr. Biggles was retired from the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. He was a member of Greater Macedonia M.B. Church and was a member of Rock Pond Lodge No. 197.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Spencer Biggles; seven sons, Kenneth Biggles, Reginald Biggles, Fredrick Kirkland, Derrick Biggles, Michael Copeland, Dr. Micheal Biggles and Willis Biggles II; a daughter, Delisa Biggles; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
