Beulah Brackin

Funeral services for Beulah Grace Brackin, 79, of Brinson, Ga., were held Thursday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, Ga., with the Revs. Joe Murkerson and Talmadge Worsley officiating.

Interment followed in the church’s cemetery with Ricky Smith, Michael Kirkland, Glenn Earnest, Yancy Trawick, Mac Harrison and Eddie Miller Jr. serving as active pallbearers.

Born Nov. 12, 1930, in Miller County, Ga., Mrs. Brackin died on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Brackin attended New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Annette Herring; and a grandson, Austin Brackin.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Wyatt Brackin of Seminole County, Ga.; four sons, Keith Brackin of Brinson, Phil Brackin of Bainbridge, Ray Brackin and Tim Brackin, both of Seminole County; a daughter, Janet Whittaker of Donalsonville; a sister, Joyce Fields of Seminole County; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
