A funeral service for Phil Davis, 62, of Bainbridge, was held Sunday, April 11, in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Nalls officiating.

Interment followed at Oak City Cemetery.

Born Dec. 28, 1947, in Orlando, Fla., Mr. Davis died on Friday, April 9, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Davis was the son of Louie Phillip Davis and Martha Crocker Davis. He was a retired automobile salesman and a member of Southwest Baptist Church.

Survivors include his brother, Doc Davis of Spartanburg, S.C.; his sister, Suzanne D. Alley of Bainbridge; and his fiancé, Betty Genovar of Bainbridge. He was “Pop” to Andrew, Matthew and Lauren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
