Hall elected to Reagan Ranch board

Bainbridge resident Wynton Hall was unanimously elected to the board of directors of Young America’s Foundation (YAF), which owns and oversees the Reagan Ranch, property that was owned by the late President Ronald Reagan.

A visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution of Stanford University and an alumnus of YAF student programs, Hall has spoken at YAF conferences and seminars, including the National Conservative Student Conference and the National High School Leadership Conference.

Hall, who has taught speech communications at Bainbridge College since 2002, has written several books, including the book about Reagan, “The Greatest Communicator,” which he wrote with Reagan’s chief strategist and pollster, Dick Wirthlin.

Hall’s work has appeared in such publications as The New York Times, USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle, International Herald Tribune, The Examiner and Toronto Globe and Mail.

Among his credits in the realm of academic literature, Hall and fellow YAF Director Peter Schweizer co-edited Landmark Speeches of the American Conservative Movement for Texas A&M University Press.

As a professional speechwriter and communication consultant, Hall’s clients have included Fortune 500 companies, national TV celebrities, college presidents, U.S. senators and NCAA Hall of Fame college coaches. He is a frequent guest on television and nationally syndicated radio programs including BBC News, C-SPAN 2’s Book TV program and Bill O’Reilly’s The Radio Factor.

Hall earned his master’s in speech communication from Texas A&M University with an emphasis in rhetoric and public affairs and his bachelor’s in political science from the University of Florida.

He is a recipient of the Texas A&M University Distinguished Research Award and is a past member of the eight-person National Task Force on the Presidency and Public Opinion.

In addition to Bainbridge College, Hall taught graduate and undergraduate courses in speechwriting, communications and presidential rhetoric at Texas A&M and East Tennessee State University.
