The overwhelming support of the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society and the animal shelter by individuals and businesses in Bainbridge, Decatur County and surrounding areas is truly amazing.

The financial support provided by contributions and participation in our fund-raising projects such as donations at the shelter and in cans located around town, book fairs, golf tournaments and bingo nights have placed us in a much better fiscal position than we were just a year ago when we were struggling to find ways to pay the bills.

Individuals bring desperately needed supplies to the shelter. Items such as old bed linens, towels, throw rugs, dog and cat toys, canned dog and cat food, bleach and other cleaning supplies were generously donated, gratefully accepted and put to good use.

Volunteers give of their time by working at the shelter and with our fund-raising projects, and students gain community service credit by working with us.

While it is impossible for us to thank each of you individually, please know that your generosity enables us to continue our mission of “Helping the Helpless” and is deeply appreciated.
