Do you trust the federal government to handle your health care?

They already have us in two mandated programs, Social Security and Medicare, and both are running red ink now.

Both cost 9.55 percent of your gross salary plus a matched amount collected from your employer for a total of 18.1 percent. The government’s track record has proven their incompetence in administrating benefit programs plus controlling costs/spending i.e.: U.S. debt.

We the people can no longer afford the price and bureaucracy (Social Security has approximately 48,000 employees represented by AFGE union) of another federal government mandated program treading on our incomes and freedoms. If the current health care reform is so great, why have the president, Congress and Senators exempted themselves and their families from the health care plan?
