Funeral services for Edd Henry, 60, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, located off River Road in Seminole County, Ga., with the Rev. Jerome Milton officiating.

Interment followed in the church’s cemetery with James Henry Jr., Stanley Henry, Anthony Hightower, Greg Hightower, Michael Henry and Darrell Faison serving as active pallbearers.

Born March 7, 1949, in Seminole County, Ga., Mr. Henry died on Feb. 26, 2010, in Dothan, Ala., following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Henry was a member of Lamb Temple. He was retired.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Henry; four sons, Edd Henry Jr., Daniel Myrin Henry, James Canty and Ivan Johnson; four daughters, Cynthia Freeman, Joyce Henry, Teresa Henry and Deanna Canty; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
