Funeral services for Jessie Jones Inman, 95, of Bainbridge, were held Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Sylvania Methodist Church near Faceville with the Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating.

Interment followed at Sylvania Cemetery with Tom Williams, Lovette Williams, Ben Greve, Darryl Williams, Alex Browne and Greg Murray serving as active pallbearers.

Born July 29, 1914, in Quincy, Fla., Mrs. Inman died on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Inman was a graduate of Perry (Fla.) High School and worked for Winn-Dixie in Perry, Fla., and Tallahassee, Fla., and at the family dry goods store, “The Emporium” in Perry. She was a bookkeeper for Wingate’s Lunker Lodge for 23 years. She was very active in Sylvania Methodist Church and her community, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a passionate gardener, loved her flowers, and loved sharing them with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Inman; a brother, Cornelius Jones; two sisters, Mary Williams and Kathryn Maxwell; a nephew, Robert Williams; and a niece, Kathy Rizzo.

Survivors include her sister, Jinkie Greve of Tallahassee, Fla.; two nieces, Mary Anne Cleveland of Longwood, Fla., and Connie Lee of Perry, Fla.; five nephews, Thomas Williams of Tallahassee, Ben Greve of Tallahassee, Lovett Williams of Cedar Key, Fla., Bill Maxwell of Atlanta, Ga., and Judson Jones of Havana, Fla.; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
