Funeral services for Gail Williams, 53, of Tallahassee, Fla., were held Friday, Feb. 19, at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Fla., with Dr. Jimmy Brookins officiating.

Interment followed in Concord Cemetery near Miccosukee, Fla., with Randy Miller, Bryanth Campbell, Randy R. Miller, Torrance Campbell, Marcus Robinson and Ronald Mills serving as active pallbearers.

Born Jan. 1, 1957, in New Jersey, Mrs. Williams died on Feb. 15, 2010, at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Fla.

Mrs. Williams was an active member of St. Stephen M.B. Church in Tallahassee, where she participated in several ministries and taught Sunday School and Bible classes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Williams.

Survivors include her daughter, Latonya D. Cassidy of Sicklerille, N.J.; her son, Stanley Cassidy III of Tallahassee, Fla.; two stepsons, Calvin Williams and Anthony Williams, both of Tallahassee; a stepdaughter, Linda Williams of Tallahassee; three brothers, Randy Miller of Pennsauken, N.J., Ronnie Miller of Camden, N.J., and Gary Miller of Boston, Mass.; a godchild, a nephew, several aunts and uncles, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, several special friends and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
