Funeral services for Gladys “Dot” Carson Moore, 62, of Donalsonville, Ga., was held Saturday, Feb. 20, at Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church in Donalsonville with Bishop E. Earl McCloud, Jasper Brown and Millie A. Smith Rambeau officiating.

Interment followed in Green Willow Cemetery in Seminole County with Jasper Brown Jr., George Johnson, Arthur Lee Jones, Robert Mizell, Jeff Simpson and Denys Villar serving as active pallbearers.

Born May 6, 1947, in Miami, Fla., Mrs. Moore died on Feb. 11, 2010, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Ga.

Mrs. Moore was a real estate agent. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. L.E. Moore; her son, the Rev. Jerry Moore; her daughter, Sonya Carson; and a host of other family and friends.

Jacobs Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
