Graveside funeral services for Georgia Sybil Roberts, 95, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Tuesday, Feb. 9, in the cemetery of Springfield Baptist Church in Jakin, Ga., with Veachel Williams speaking.

Born in Cedar Springs, Ga., on Nov. 3, 1914, Mrs. Flowers died on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala.

Mrs. Roberts was of the Baptist faith and worked as a seamstress for Jack Winters and Bruce Synder Manufacturing. One of her many hobbies was quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Eston Roberts; four brothers, Bud, Jake, Tom and Marcine Hill; four sisters, Annie Mae Bishop, Ruby Glass, Johnnie Joiner and Emily Garrett; two daughters, Martha Grimes and Rachel Whitten, and one great-grandson, Kerry Ingram.

Survivors include four daughters, Lanette Easom of Dothan, Ala., Sara Stevens of Leesburg, Fla., Kaye Ingram of Pansey, Ala., and Cynthia Gibson of Sylvester, Ga.; two sons, Charles Roberts of Albany, Ky., and Ronnie Roberts of Dublin, Calif.; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
