A graveside service for Cecilia McDermott Willis, 96, of Bainbridge, was held Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Southern Memorial Park in North Miami Beach, Fla.

A rosary service for Mrs. Willis was held Jan. 31 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rudy Breunig officiating.

Born March 5, 1913, in New York City, N.Y., Mrs. Willis died on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Willis was a manicurist for many years in New York City and was of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Otto Willis.

Survivors include her son, Mitch Willis of Bainbridge; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
