Funeral services for Bennie Lee Wester Jr., 49, of Satusma, Fla., will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating.

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Born Dec. 4, 1960, in Jacksonville, Fla., Mr. Wester died on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, in Putnam County, Fla.

Mr. Wester was a graduate of North Jacksonville Academy and Florida Community College, and was an automobile mechanic. He loved fishing and shrimping and was very active with a group that flew model airplanes.

Survivors include is parents, Bennie Lee Wester and Bettye Batchelor Wester of Bainbridge; his brother, Bill Wester of Satsuma, Fla.; his sister, Janet W. Butler of Glen St. Mary, Fla.; a nephew, a niece, and other family and friends.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
