A memorial service for Gene A. Key, 50, of Calvary, Ga., will be held at a later date.

Born Sept. 6, 1959, in Gainesville, Fla., Mr. Key died on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Bainbridge Healthcare.

Mr. Key worked in construction and was a maintenance worker with Thomas Mercantile.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Colpack Key.

Survivors include his father, Wilbur G. Key and his wife, Sara, of Milledgeville, Ga.; his daughter, Karla Mullis of Bainbridge; his son, Kevin Key of Bainbridge; his brother, William Key of Ocala, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
