Funeral services for Betty Elaine Miller, 56, of Bainbridge, were held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Cox-Ware Funeral Home with the Revs. Jimmy Walden and Onez Lee officiating.

Interment followed at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Jim McCann, James Jordan, Carl Scott, Chris Kelly, Stuart Kelly and George Doyle serving as active pallbearers.

Born in Decatur County on Dec. 4, 1953, Mrs. Miller died on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Unity Church of God in Iron City and a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren, crossword puzzles, knitting, crocheting and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Miller.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her parents, Thomas A. Dollar Sr. and Dorothy Lee White Dollar of Bainbridge; her husband, Jim Miller of Bainbridge; two children, Joyce Lynn Coddington and Jennifer Lee Eakin, both of Bainbridge; two brothers, Thomas A. Dollar Jr. of Dothan, Ala., and Robert E. “Bobby” Dollar of Bainbridge; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
