Funeral services for Louise McMullen Williams, 88, of Bainbridge, were held Friday, Jan. 15, at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Carl G. Garnett officiating.

Interment followed in Roselawn Memory Gardens with Ray Glass, Billy Newsome, Pete Stewart, Bruce Martin, Max Sorrell and John Timmons serving as active pallbearers.

Born Sept. 15, 1921, in Miller County, Ga., Mrs. Williams died on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge.

Mrs. Williams lived in Seminole County until 1943, when she moved to Phenix City, Ala. She moved to Bainbridge in 1969, where she had resided since. She was a housewife and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Talley Williams.

She is survived by two sons. Robert Earl Wiliams and Frank J. Williams, both of Bainbridge; one sister, Adene Pope of Bainbridge; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home in Bainbridge was in charge of arrangements.
