Funeral services for Lucy Berry, 93, of Dothan, Ala., will be held Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, Ga., with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville with Don Harrison, Alton Harrison, Winfred Taylor, Lajoy Hagler, David Givens and Allen Givens officiating.

Born Oct. 21, 1916, in Colquitt, Ga., Mrs. Berry died on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William Monte Berry.

Survivors include a son, William Bradley Berry of Plano, Texas; a granddaughter, Jessica Brevard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
