Graveside funeral services for Kathleen Carter Hatcher, 91, of Bainbridge, were held Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. David Grubbs officiating.

Born July 27, 1918, in Miller County, Mrs. Hatcher died on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care in Tallahassee, Fla.

Mrs. Hatcher was a seamstress with Jack Winter and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Smiley B. Hatcher.

Survivors include her daughter, Ernestine Badman of Manchester, Tenn.; two sons, Donald Moore of Albany and Ray Haire of Bainbridge; two daughters in law, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
