Ada Conyers

Funeral services for Ada Mae Conyers, 80, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held on Monday, Dec. 21, at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church in Donalsonville with the Revs. Donna Sue Roberts and Johnny Shepard officiating.
Interment followed in the Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Thursby, Joe Thursby, Andy Jones, David Conyers, Dicky Lay and Gene Burke serving as active pallbearers.
Born in Donalsonville, Ga., on Sept. 29, 1929, Mrs. Conyers died on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Conyers was a member of Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, M.J. Conyers of Donalsonville; three sons, Joseph Conyers of Bainbridge, William Elliot Conyers of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Harry Dewayne Conyers of Ashford, Ala.; a daughter, Dorothy Jones of Prattville, Ala.; a sister, Rose Donalson of Bainbridge; three daughter-in-laws, a son-in-law, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
