Funeral services for Howard Craig Flowers, 66, of Jasper, Ga., will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, at noon at Attapulgus Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Mock and Marty Durden officiating.

Interment will follow at Attapulgus Cemetery.

Born Nov. 14, 1943, in Maybank, Texas, Mr. Flowers died on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Ga.

Mr. Flowers was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Jasper, where he served in the Children’s Ministry.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Holt Flowers of Jasper; two sons, Christopher Gregory Flowers and Christian Scott Flowers, both of Tallahassee, Fla.; and his daughter, Tammy Dawn Flowers of Merritt Island, Fla.
