A memorial service for Martha Maxie Wright, 73, of Gainesville, Fla., were held Thursday, Dec. 3, in the chapel of E.W. Lawson and Son Funeral Home in Palatka, Fla.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 5, at Guyton Brothers Funeral Home. Interment followed at Brown Cemetery in Bainbridge.

Born March 16, 1936, in Mitchell County, Ga., Mrs. Wright died on Nov. 25, 2009, in Florida.

Mrs. Wright was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville, Fla.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Wright of Gainesville; her brother, Willie Gross of Ocala, Fla.; an aunt, Eartha Lee Coney of Bainbridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Guyton Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
