Graveside services for William T. Gilbert, 82, of Quincy, Fla., were held Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gadsden County, Fla.

Born Sept. 22, 1927, in Altha, Fla., Mr. Gilbert died on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at his home in Quincy.

Mr. Gilbert was a glazer and operated Gilbert Glass.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Nettie B. Gilbert of Quincy; three daughters, Belinda Chason and Sharon Gilbert, both of Quincy, and Debra Chambliss of Bainbridge, one son, Tommy Gilbert of Quincy; one brother, Jimmy Gilbert of Aiken, S.C.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Charles McClellan Funeral Home in Quincy was in charge of arrangements.
