Funeral services for Richard Harold “Ricky” Sigman, 44, of Bainbridge, will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Barry Perez, Rev. Bruce McCracken and Rev. Danny Ray officiating.
Interment will follow in Eldorado Baptist Church Cemetery near Tifton, Ga., at 3 p.m. with Mike Hughes, Taylor Hughes, Bailey Hughes, Fred Simonton and Terry Vann serving as active pallbearers.
Born Nov. 24, 1965, in Valdosta, Ga., Mr. Sigman died on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.
Mr. Sigman lived most all of his life in Bainbridge and was a member of the New Covenant Church in Thomasville, Ga. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School in 1983 and a graduate of Bainbridge College. He was a member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, loved computers and enjoyed spending time with his daughter.
Mr. Sigman was preceded in death by his father, Harold Sigman.
Survivors include a daughter, Diamond Rose Sigman of Bainbridge; his mother, Margie DuBose Sigman of Bainbridge; a sister, Mary Alice Simonton of Gainesville, Ga.; a niece and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
