Funeral services for Hilton Levon Phillips, 57, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, Nov. 21, at St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church in Fowlstown with the Rev. Edward Greer officiating.

Interment followed in New Messiah Cemetery in Bainbridge with Tyrone Clark, Bennie Brown, Rodricas Butler, Anthony Jacobs, Kenny Brown and Sam Brown serving as pallbearers.

Born May 28, 1952, in Bainbridge, Mr. Phillips died on Nov. 16, 2009.

Hilton was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his father, Wilmer Phillips; a son, Hilton Phillips Jr.; two daughters, Alicia Phillips Harper and Latesha Phillips; two sisters, Shirley Campbell and Winnie Saunders; one brother, Artise Phillips; special and devoted friends, Sandra Brown and Anthony Jacobs; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
