Funeral services for Cameron Keith Brock, 13, of Camilla, Ga., will be Sunday, Nov. 15, at 4 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Vada with Pastor Conrad Salter officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery with Kyle Dean, Earl Godwin, Cyrus Brinkley, Ken Hayes Sr., Ronald Wisham and Tracy Posey serving as active pallbearers.

Born on April 1, 1996, in Bainbridge, Ga., Cameron died on Friday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Children’s Medical Hospital in Macon, Ga. He was a seventh-grade student at Pelham City Middle School and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He was an avid Florida State University fan and loved to spend time with his family, friends and his dog, Gizzie.

Cameron is survived by his parents, Brian and Ramonda Brock of Camilla, Ga.; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Lynda Houck of Havana, Fla., and Ladon and Debra Sellers of Cairo, Ga.; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Sheryl Brock of Camilla; a great-grandmother, Beatrice Brinkley of Cairo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
