With their loss to Westside High School of Macon last Friday, the Bainbridge High School Bearcats football team is no longer included in the Georgia High School Football Daily/AJC team rankings, or in the Georgia Sportswriters’ Association poll.

The Bearcats are still ranked in the coaches’ poll, tied for tenth with Apalachee, a high school near Winder, Ga. The Bearcats are still considered one of the strongest AAAA teams considering the abilities of their opponents, according to Georgia High School Football Daily.

Westside-Macon is ranked No. 2 in the AJC poll and No. 1 in the coaches’ poll.
