Funeral services for Pamela Gail Connell, 53, of Bainbridge, formerly of Madison, Ala., will be held Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors in Albany, Ga.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, at the funeral home.

Born Sept. 7, 1955, in Albany, Ga., Ms. Connell died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Ms. Connell had lived in Madison, Ala., until moving to Bainbridge recently. She was a member of The Restoration Church in Madison and loved to read her Bible. Other loves in her life were cooking, puzzles, computer games and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Ronnie Connell.

Survivors include two brothers, Craig Connell of Bainbridge and Dennis Connell of Huntsville, Ala.; a sister, Lisa Maria Connell McKendree of Destin, Fla.; two nephews, three nieces and one great-nephew.

Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors in Albany, Ga., are in charge of funeral arrangements.
