Gina S. Skinner, a Bainbridge High School cheerleader and Class of 1979 graduate, had the idea for “Buddy the Bearcat.” With help from her parents, Hollis and Janette Sullivan, the more than 30-year-old statue was created. The statue was recently moved to its new home at the new Bainbridge High School.
