Four Georgia Southern University students from the surrounding area have been named to the president’s list for the Spring 2009 term. They are the following: Ava J. Conger of Bainbridge, a senior majoring in English; Lauryn E. Williams of Camilla, Ga., a sophomore majoring in public relations; Merrie A. Lumpkin of Bainbridge, a sophomore majoring in pre-broadcasting; and Steven K. Todd of Bainbridge, a sophomore majoring in Georgia Tech Regional Engineering Program: Mechanical Engineering. To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
