The 11 and under Bainbridge Bearcats places second out of six teams in the Bainbridge Invitational that was held at the Bill Reynolds Sports Complex on April 25. Head Coach Garrett Williams said the tournament was a great success, thanks to numerous local sponsors that helped make the event possible. The Bearcats defeated the South Georgia Sliders from Blakely, Ga.; the Skipperville Sluggers from Skipperville, Ala.; and the Americus Raiders from Americus, Ga., to advance to the championship game. The Bearcats were defeated by the Florida Young Guns from Crawfordville, Fla.
