Funeral services for Frank Morris, 56, of Albany, Ga., will be held Friday, May 8, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cox-Ware Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel.

Born Sept. 27, 1952, in Jasper, Ala., Mr. Morris died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in Albany.

Mr. Morris has lived most of his life in Decatur County until moving to Albany two years ago. He was of the Baptist faith and was employed as a logger with J.L. Eubanks of Pelham, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Jody Glasser Morris of Albany; a son, Tony Morris; three daughters, Theresa Pippins, Lisa Bettis and Melissa Morris, all of Bainbridge; five sisters, Patricia Gilstrap, Stephanie Jones and Susan Morris, all of Okeechobee, Fla., Ruby Roberts of Camilla, Ga., and Margaret Banks of Cairo, Ga.; two brothers, Roy Morris of Albany and Danny Ray Morris of Bainbridge, and five grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
