On April 18, Doris was honored with a sit-down luncheon given by her daughters, Barbara Harvey of Dawson, Ga., Brenda Simmonds of Plano, Texas, Bernice Doyal of Lee County, Ga., Bonnie Thomas of Albany, Ga., and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Two of her brothers, Earl Sanders of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Otis Sanders of Birmingham, Ala., and two sisters, Virginia Lee of Thomasville, Ga., and Drucilla Pope of Grady County, Ga., and a host of nieces and nephews, along with many friends attended the gala affair held at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church fellowship hall near Climax.

Balloons designated the seat of honor for Ms. Doris, and cloth-draped tables held baskets of spring flowers.

Doss is another gracious lady of Climax reaching that wonderful young age of 90. Congratulations and best wishes for many more.
