If the tips of the tines on the dish basket of your dishwasher have started to rust or discolor, try this trick from Club member Robert Meyer of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Cover the rusted tips with 1-in. lengths of electrical shrink tubing and use a heat gun to shrink them around the tines. You’ll save yourself the expense of replacing the dish basket, and the shrink tubing will keep the rust from staining your dishes.
