The Decatur County Young Farmers and Tri State Archaeological Society are presenting an Indian artifact show to be held at the Cloud Livestock Facility, located at 1213 Vada Road, on Saturday, May 9. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with admission being $2 and free for kids under 12. Bring you finds and expert will be present for identification and evaluation. Books, display cases, posters and fossils as well as food will be for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the Decatur County Young Farmers to help with livestock shows and competitions throughout the year. There will also be an auction, which will benefit the Archaeological Society scholarship fund toward college education.
