Local industry leaders met at Propex Inc. for an Industry Roundtable Luncheon on Friday, March 27. The meeting was sponsored by the Existing Industries Committee of the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, and it was facilitated by Rebecca O’Neil, on the right, of Georgia Department of Economic Development and Rick McCaskill, on the left, of the Bainbridge-Decatur County Development Authority. Local industries present at the meeting were Elberta Crate and Box, Georgia Industries for the Blind, Shaw Industries, Decatur County, Ergon, BASF Catalysts, Danimer Scientific and Propex Inc. Regular meetings will be held for this group so that existing industries can develop partnerships that will enhance performance and efficiencies and share best practices.
