Funeral services for Clyde Mae Mitchell, 96, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Saturday, April 4, at St. Matthew M.B. Church in Donalsonville with the Rev. Patrick J. Gilley officiating.

Interment followed at St. John AME Cemetery with friends of the family serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Mitchell was born March 23, 1913, in the Bronx, N.Y. She died on March 27, 2009, at Donalsonville Hospital.

She was a member of St. Matthew M.B. Church and had lived in Donalsonville since 1986. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mitchell.

Survivors include her niece, Jodi-Dixon Mazeke.

Moore Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of arrangements.
