Decatur County Schools Head of Maintenance and Construction Jerry Mills, left, and School Superintendent Ralph Jones, right, fill in dirt around one of 125 trees being planted at the site of the new Bainbridge High School. The trees were donated as part of Decatur County schools’ Trees for Life program, in which trees to recognize, honor or memorialize a person, group or business. Tree varieties include maple, magnolia, elm, oak and others. They are being planted with the assistance of a Decatur County Correctional Institute inmate work crew.
