Dear Editor:

The last big storm we had, I felt the need to criticize Grady County EMC’s response to the post-storm situation. Lightning hit me again last Saturday night. This time, the good linemen of Grady County EMC were there ASAP. They worked long and hard in the dark and stormy night to restore my electricity. They identified a problem they were unable to address, but still left one of my meters up and running. Thus to provide me partial light and heat for the oncoming cold weather.

I hope the good linemen of Grady EMC will accept my heartfelt thanks for their hard work and dedication to the public well-being.
